Hopefully this will not become a trend.  Specifically, grocery stores opting out of double couponing.  The latest chain to stop double coupons is Ralph's in Southern California.  You might want to contact them and share your thoughts.

Starting With Coupons

Saving money on purchases involves a coordinated effort of a number of strategies.  While we could choose from several beginning points we will start here with coupons.  There are two types of coupons.  The first is from the manufacturer.  You can find these in the newspapers, magazines, and direct mail advertisements.  You can also find coupons online from coupon sites, the manufacturers web site and through manufacturer newsletters.  Another effective way of obtaining coupons is to email or call the manufacturer and ask for them.

The other method main method of obtaining coupons is store coupons.  Many grocery stores have their own coupons which are attached to their ads, can be printed online or can be added to their store cards.
